As a continuation of the welcoming tradition the International Office together with BIS student organization organized the Welcome Party for freshman international and exchange students, which took place in the Fun Club on January 17th, 2020.
The event had a special show program in order to introduce Kazakh and Central Asian culture and traditions to international students: a presentation of Kazakh national wedding tradition “Betashar”, a video about Kazakhstan, a flash-mob with national dances, as well as Kazakh, Uzbek, and Turkmen traditional games. After the official part of the event we continued to regale our students with splendid Central Asian national cuisine.
This Spring 2020 semester we have welcomed new international students from more than 15 different countries like France, Italy, the Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, South Korea, Singapore, China, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and etc.
