Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between KIMEP University and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Ltd.’s Kazakhstan Branch

On October 5, 2021, KIMEP University created an educational partnership with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Kazakhstan Branch by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This partnership was established to bring various opportunities to the KIMEP community. Students will have a chance to participate in internships at this high-profile company and alumni will have the opportunity to apply for various career openings. CCECC will be provided with various professional development trainings by KIMEP faculty.

A brief background about KIMEP University’s new partner: ⠀

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, formerly the Foreign Aid Bureau of the Ministry of Railways, was established in 1979 under the approval of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and was incorporated into China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) in 2003. CCECC has established resident offices or project management headquarters in 107 countries and regions by the end of 2021, spreading across Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and Oceania with its business covering project contracting, civil engineering design & consultancy, industrial park construction, development and operation, real estate development and property management, investment, railway operation, industrial mining, import & export, hotel management, and travel services, etc.
