KIMEP University offers quality business education since its inception in 1992 and already prepared several generations of highly qualified cadre for business industry in Kazakhstan and abroad.


The School of Computer Science and Mathematics’ mission is to educate students and produce graduates who are prepared to enter the workforce or seek graduate-level education at reputable international universities. School of Computer Science and Mathematics graduates are ethical, tech-savvy communicators with the critical thinking skills necessary to thrive in any environment.


Today, the college offers 2 bachelor programs in Computer Science and Information Systems.

Greetings, prospective KIMEP students! Over thirty years ago, I stood in your shoes, closing one chapter of my life and wondering what the next would bring. My journey started in the Ozark Mountains, and I never dreamed I would one day work in Central Asia beneath the majestic Tien-Shan Mountains. With increased international opportunities and technological break-throughs, the world is becoming smaller and more accessible. As you contemplate your future, I invite you to consider KIMEP as the next crucial step on your journey.


KIMEP has spent decades building a reputation for quality and transparency that is unmatched in Central Asia. The School of Computer Science and Mathematics has gathered top-notch faculty, world-class facilities, and an American-style curriculum - all designed to prepare students for successful careers in various technical fi elds. At KIMEP, you will work closely with faculty on meaningful capstone projects and polish your professional skills through internships, club-sponsored competitions, and extensive hands-on laboratory activities built into the curriculum.
